The Highlands Central Baptist Church was founded in 2010. The founding members had a profound love for the Word and a desire to learn and worship.
We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the North Carolina Baptist Convention, and the Macon County Baptist Association.
Our congregation is Elder led.
The emphasis of our Fellowship is the clear teaching of the Word. Our goal in doing that is to foster a deepening love relationship with and passion for Jesus Christ.
Additionally, fellowship with one another continues to be one of our strongest connecting points. You are personally invited to come and Worship Him with us!
Pastor Robinson began preaching in 1970. Since 1980 his ministry has included writing and teaching at our Southern Baptist Colleges and seminaries both domestically and internationally
Highlands Central Baptist is his fourth Pastorate having already pastored churches in Virginia as well as in North Carolina.
His academic credentials include an earned Doctorate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.
Pastor Dan and his wife, Kaye, were married in 2007, following the deaths of their first spouses. Their blended family includes six grown children, three of whom are in Heaven.
